With a long history of developing customer-centric digital solutions for clients in the public sector, including more than 300 organizations across Canada and the United States, eSolutionsGroup (eSolutions) will proudly join other tech companies in Waterloo’s Idea Quarter by the end of this year.

"As a company that continues to innovate and collaborate with clients across the country, moving to Waterloo’s Idea Quarter just makes sense," said Karen Mayfield, President of eSolutions and a Principal with GHD. "It’s where we belong."

eSolutions and our clients have earned multiple prestigious international and national awards for the innovative, service-oriented projects we deliver. Behind every solution is a collaborative relationship with our clients and the communities they serve. Together we are working towards improving public experiences across Canada by using new technologies that significantly change the way citizens and public sector organizations communicate, and how those organizations deliver services to their customers.

Firm believers that digital services should be inclusive and barrier-free, the company’s latest campaigns to help public sector organizations meet accessibility regulations are the annual OpenWeb accessibility conference and Accessible Documents Training On-Demand – online training modules that staff can complete at their own pace, on their own schedule.

eSolutions is also known for our award-winning mobile app, pingstreet©, which takes a coordinated, consistent approach to citizen engagement across all departments and levels of government. The technology is engaging citizens in more meaningful ways, allowing more than 20 municipalities across Canada to involve the community in important decision-making opportunities, such as planning for new developments in the community.

"The pingstreet community is adapting at a phenomenal rate with new features frequently being added to meet the needs and wants of citizens everywhere," said Dave Gray, Principal and Director of Mobile Development at eSolutions. "The application is also a unique opportunity for municipalities to collaborate with each other about citizen-focused services."

eSolutions focuses on digital solutions that better connect communities and deliver services more efficiently for public sector organizations, from municipalities, economic development and tourism organizations, to education institutions,  utilities, police and health service organizations.

In fact, the company has an entire line of products dedicated to helping police organizations deliver faster, more convenient digital services to the public. Calgary Police Service received the highly respected Distinction Award Medal for Excellence in Collaboration in recognition of ePIC™ – an electronic Police Information Check system, developed in partnership with eSolutions. And it all started with an idea to serve communities better.

"The new location is an ideal base for eSolutionsGroup’s continued North American growth," said Tony Niederer, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer at eSolutions. "It situates us in the centre of Waterloo Region’s vibrant technology ecosystem with access to talent and continued innovation."

Adam Ballew of Spear Street Capital, a San Francisco-based commercial real estate firm and one of the Idea Quarter’s founders, explains that the hub is looking to foster collaboration and advance the ideas and goals of groups in the area.

"When we worked with other stakeholders in the area to create the Idea Quarter, the vision was to create a district identity that was forward-looking and embraced the companies that were already in the market while also sending a signal to the community at large that this area would provide a home for innovative organizations," said Ballew. "We are thrilled that eSolutions and its parent company GHD, has chosen to call one of our buildings in the Idea Quarter home."

eSolutions expects to begin moving into the new office space, located at 455 Phillip Street, this December.
