Surrounded by water, mountains and forests, Sport Tourism in Vernon is a branch of the tourism sector that has the potential to bring in new visitors. Tourism Vernon brings Sport Tourism front and centre on their new website, attracting adventurers, sport enthusiasts and risk-takers - an audience that searches for and is willing to spend money on sporting adventures when they travel.
The website launched on February 12, 2016. The site currently has 93,894 unique visitors, 134,091 visits and 377,951 pageviews. In this short time, they also have several subscribers who have opted into receiving electronic news and notices: 337 subscribers to their Media/News; 381 to their Corporate eNewsletter and 2,563 to the Tourism eNewsletter.
