eSolutionsGroup would like to remind our valued clients about some important changes that are in store for Google Analytics.

New data retention controls are on their way that will allow you to manage how long your user and event data are stored by Google Analytics. These will soon take effect on May 25, 2018.

Please be aware that you must review and confirm these settings for your website, as any user and event data that is older than your retention settings will be marked for permanent deletion by Google Analytics on that date.

You can review these settings by logging into Google Analytics and clicking and following Property ? Tracking Info ? Data Retention.

In addition, this deletion will affect the use of segmentation, some custom reports and secondary dimensions when applied in date ranges older than your retention settings. Reports based on aggregated data will not be affected.

For more information, or if you have any further questions, check out the Google Analytics Help Centre or contact customer support.

Thank you,

Your eSolutionsGroup Team
