eSolutionsGroup (eSolutions) is honoured to celebrate the amazing achievements of 14 clients whose websites recently took home a grand total of 11 awards and six honorable mentions in the prestigious 2018 Hermes Creative Awards competition.

“We’re thrilled to be able to share in the accomplishments of all of these project teams who worked so tirelessly to create something new and exciting,” said Karen Mayfield, president of eSolutionsGroup. “These websites not only showcase what each platform has to offer, but also offer users and audiences a place to connect, share ideas and communicate – values that are at the heart of these awards.”

Two clients won the Platinum Award, the highest distinction in the competition. Guelph Hydro Electric Systems Inc. was recognized for its exemplary website, along with the Region of Waterloo’s three heritage and museum websites, Waterloo Region Museum, Schneider Haus National Historic Site and McDougall Cottage.

Eight Gold Awards were given to websites that eSolutions developed, including the Region of Waterloo Grand River Transit, the Cambridge Centre for the Arts, the Town of Kingsville, the City of Kitchener Love My Hood initiative, Waterloo EDC, the Town of Cobourg and the City of Kawartha Lakes Tourism.

One Gold Award went to the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc for a Resident Services feature added to its website in 2017. This feature, developed by eSolutions, offers users a one-stop shopping experience in accessing municipal services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It provides direct links to either information on services or forms to directly contact municipal staff about specific issues or problems.

Several clients’ websites received an honourable mention, including the City of Dryden, the City of Orillia, the Town of Greater Napanee, Thames Valley District School Board, the City of Kitchener and the Region of Durham.

All of these websites were deemed by judges to display exemplary creative marketing and communications qualities in electronic media. Each entry also demonstrated excellence in using the skills and technology of a new generation of marketing and communications professionals.
