Junior Marketing Coordinator

eSolutionsGroup (a GHD company) is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm. We specialize in web, brand, communications, marketing and creative strategies. We build and offer customized and out-of-the-box digital solutions for our clients.

We are looking for two (2) Junior Marketing Coordinators to join our team in the Waterloo office.

About the job:

We are looking for a passionate Junior Marketing Coordinator to fill a full-time role with our team. This position is perfect for students who have just completed their program and want to get some hands-on experience.

The Junior Marketing Coordinator will play a key part in supporting the Marketing and Communications department by providing project and transactional Marketing support, as well as support for the development and planning for marketing campaigns, and much more. This position reports directly to the Chief Communications Officer.

You are detail oriented and love working with people. You can work alone and as part of a team. You follow direction well and are not afraid to bring new ideas to the table. You understand that there is strength in working together as a unit, and that when one person succeeds, we all thrive. You are comfortable with an open environment and recognize team effort.

You are happiest in a fast-paced environment where your responsibilities will often vary day-to day. You take great pride in your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to take a task successfully through to completion. You are always up for learning new skills and happy to contribute by taking on both large and small tasks.

What you'll do:

  • Develop an understanding of all eSolutions products
  • Develop direct marketing campaigns for current and potential clients
  • Develop contact directories and make outgoing calls to promote products and services
  • Create and/or edit a variety of materials for the web, print, email, and other channels.
  • Help out a variety of teams when necessary to ensure the success of the company
  • After completing provided training, create accessible documents
  • Perform other related duties, as required

Your skills, experience and qualifications: 

  • Successful completion of a university or college level Marketing program (or equivalent)
  • Exceptional writing and communications skills
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Keen eye for attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Proactive, can-do attitude, and a desire to learn
  • Creative, innovative, and willing to contribute ideas and professional opinion
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of computer proficiency and demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
