Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Director of Product Sales, the Marketing Manager, located in our Waterloo Office, will have a rare opportunity to contribute to start-up style growth for proven software applications as part of a larger multi-national organization.

About the role:

Building on years of success as a consultancy focused organization developing customer centric applications for hundreds of public sector organizations; we are implementing a high-reaching new sales and marketing strategy to passionately drive the growth of our existing digital solutions as independent products.

The Marketing Manager is accountable for building, leading, and developing a team to systematically launch each product line including the launch plan, marketing strategy, customer acquisition strategy, analytics and reporting.

Specifically, accountabilities include:

  • Define and launch product brands
  • Define and execute on customer acquisition plans for each product line including value propositions, content development, news releases, automated nurturing and campaigns
  • Lead the development of personalized, engaging content that supports conversion across the customer journey
  • Define and monitor KPI’s and return on investment associated with marketing activities
  • Support sales events or initiatives and contribute to proposal template development
  • Grow and mentor an efficient and effective product marketing team

What you bring to our team:

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Marketing
  • 5 years of experience as a Marketing Manager
  • Experience with Software / SaaS is ideal
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong technical content marketing background
  • Experience marketing to public sector, non-profit organizations and private sector.
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across a diverse team
  • Passion, Energy and an entrepreneurial approach with the willingness to support in hands-on execution as the capability and capacity of the team is built
  • Ability to travel in North America to trade shows or conferences if required (occasional)
