Product Marketing Lead

The Product Marketing Lead, who will be based out of our Waterloo Office, is accountable for building, leading, and developing a team to systematically launch each product line including the launch plan, marketing strategy, customer acquisition strategy, analytics and reporting.

About the role:

Building on years of success as a consultancy focused organization developing customer centric applications for hundreds of public sector organizations; we are implementing an ambitious new sales and marketing strategy to ambitiously drive the growth of our existing digital solutions as independent products.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Product Marketing Lead will have a rare opportunity to contribute to start-up style growth for proven software applications as part of a larger multi-national organization.

Specifically, accountabilities include:

  • Work with Product Management and Sales teams to establish growth strategies to support user acquisition goals.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products and resonates with target customers
  • Prioritize initiatives and collaborate with internal and external marketing resources to execute on in-line with marketing strategic priorities and implementation plans.
  • Manage all phases of integrated marketing campaigns including strategy & planning, development, execution and performance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain detailed campaign project plans and critical paths.

What you bring to our team:

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Marketing
  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing
  • Experience targeting private sector, public sector and non-profit organizations, ideally with Software / SaaS offerings.
  • Consistent track record of developing and launching marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrates the ability to efficiently manage projects including time, activities and resources
  • Highly capable in digital marketing, automation and experience with HubSpot
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and practices
  • Data driven decision for marketing initiatives
  • Strong content marketing background
  • Experience marketing to public sector and non-profit organizations
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across a diverse team
  • Passion, Energy and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to travel in North America to trade shows or conferences if required (occasional)
