By January 1, 2021, all public sector organizations in Ontario must have 100% accessible web content, meeting the accessibility requirements of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA.

This is because the rules are getting stricter under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). There isn't much time left to ensure that all your web content, including web pages, design, PDFs and fillable forms are accessible to all web users.

In this webinar, we will guide you through what you need to know before the deadline arrives, including website necessities, ways to meet the requirements, and creating an accessibility playbook to ensure your team is compliant by January 1, 2021.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn about the upcoming 2021 AODA deadline and what it means to be in compliance, or non-compliant, with the rules.
  2. Discover why it is important to be inclusive to all users and members of your community that use your website, and just how many people get left behind with inaccessible web content.
  3. Find out about the different approaches you can take to tackle making your web content accessible.
